LAS VEGAS – Attorney Stephanie Allen secured approval of the Boring Co.’s Vegas Loop system.  The approval by Clark County Board of County Commissioners on October 20, 2021  is for a 50-year franchise agreement between Clark County and Boring Company.  This approval allows for the permitting process to begin, which will lead to the eventual construction of the 15-mile dual loop system.  Boring Company’s plan is a mostly underground system, operating mainly in and around the Las Vegas Strip. The approval includes a zoning approval for the underground system.  There will be 51 connections that include Allegiant Stadium and UNLV, with riders being transported by private Tesla model vehicles.  There are plans to expand and when fully operational the system will be able to handle 57,000 riders per hour.
