CARSON CITY – Bob Crowell, of Kaempfer Crowell, has won his third and final term as Mayor of Carson City. Bob has previously served two terms as Mayor. During his term as Mayor, he has championed a smart growth plan and supported economic development and diversification in the core business district of Carson City.
Mayor Crowell said “I am both honored and humbled to serve as the Mayor of Nevada’s capital city. I look forward to continuing our efforts to build a sustainable community that represents the changing face of Nevada as we move into the 21st century”.
Bob is a shareholder with Kaempfer Crowell. Prior to being elected Mayor, he served eleven years as an elected trustee of the Carson City School Board and twice served as its president, served as a director of the Northern Nevada Development Authority and Chairman of the Board of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Carson City, and is a board member of the Capital City Circles Initiative, an organization of business and religious leaders seeking to address poverty in Carson City. Bob is a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, a member of that organization’s local Chapter 388, and a member of the Sons of American Revolution, American Legion and the Carson City Council of the Navy League where he served as charter president.
