Practice Highlights:

Briana Martinez is a Partner at Kaempfer Crowell who represents developers, investors, business owners and families in real estate, business transactions, privileged licensing and estate planning. A native Nevadan, Briana has built a diverse practice advising clients on major real estate investments, business acquisitions, regulatory matters and the protection of personal and family assets. She understands that behind every transaction or legal decision are important financial and personal interests, and works closely with clients to help them make informed decisions and achieve their goals.

Real estate is a significant part of Briana’s practice. She represents clients in commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, handling everything from property acquisitions and financing to development agreements, leasing and sales. Her experience includes negotiating complex transactions, resolving title and survey issues, and addressing land use restrictions and other matters that can affect a project’s success. Among her notable matters are a transaction involving The Boring Company’s Vegas Loop and a land donation supporting Delta Academy.

Briana also has extensive experience representing businesses in Nevada’s highly regulated industries, including gaming, liquor, cannabis and transportation. She helps clients obtain privileged licenses, secure regulatory approvals and navigate ownership changes and compliance requirements. Her experience in both business transactions and regulatory law is particularly valuable when clients are buying, selling or restructuring licensed businesses.

Beyond individual transactions, Briana serves as outside counsel to businesses on matters involving corporate governance, commercial contracts, acquisitions and ownership changes. She also works with individuals and families on estate planning, helping them protect what they have built and make thoughtful decisions about how their assets will be managed and passed on. Her work includes preparing revocable family trusts and related estate planning documents, as well as representing families and fiduciaries through probate and estate administration.

Briana began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph Hardy Jr. of Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court, where she gained experience in civil and criminal matters. She attended the William S. Boyd School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship and served as Business Law Editor of the Nevada Law Journal.

Recognized for her professional accomplishments, Briana has earned honors including Super Lawyers Rising Star, Nevada Legal Elite, Top Rank Attorney and Best Up and Coming Attorney by Nevada Business Magazine. In 2026, she was selected as a Hispanic National Bar Association 40 Under 40 honoree. She is also a frequent speaker at legal education programs and industry events and has appeared on podcasts and radio programs discussing real estate, business law, estate planning, probate and licensing.

Community:

For Briana, Nevada is more than where she practices law. It's home. As a native Nevadan, Latina and first-generation college graduate, she has made supporting her community and opening doors for future legal professionals an important part of her career.

Briana is a past President of the Nevada Latino Bar Association, where she worked to strengthen opportunities for Latino attorneys and students interested in pursuing legal careers. She was instrumental in establishing the association's ¡Ándale! Foundation, handling its legal formation and securing its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. She also helped launch the annual ¡Ándale! 5K Scholarship Run, which raises funds to help students pursue careers in law.

Having navigated the path to law school as a first-generation college graduate, Briana understands the importance of mentorship and access to opportunity. She regularly mentors young attorneys, law clerks, interns and students, sharing her experience and helping others find their footing in the legal profession. Her commitment to education and community involvement reflects the same dedication she brings to her clients and her work.
