Practice Highlights:

Micah Mtatabikwa-Walker is a litigator focused on complex civil disputes, representing businesses and individuals in tort defense, commercial disputes, and other high-stakes matters. He advises clients through every stage of litigation, from pre-suit strategy and discovery to motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Known for his strategic and results-driven approach, Micah has successfully secured dismissals in multiple cases through summary judgment and other dispositive motions.

Prior to joining the firm, Micah was a partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, an Am Law 100 national law firm, where he represented clients in a broad range of complex tort and commercial disputes. His experience includes advising clients across diverse industries in business disputes, liability claims, and other complex civil matters.

Originally from Edmonton, Micah earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he attended on a full academic scholarship. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from California State University, Fresno, majoring in sociology with a minor in criminology.

Micah is an alumnus of Delta Sigma Phi and remains committed to professional development and mentorship within the legal community.

Outside of his practice, Micah is an avid fitness enthusiast and longtime hockey player. He enjoys supporting his hometown team, the Edmonton Oilers, as well as traveling, barbequing, and spending time with his family.
