Ellsie is an attorney in the Firm’s Litigation Department and focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, real-estate disputes, and business torts. She also practices in the area of water law, specifically appeals of administrative decisions concerning water rights.
Ellsie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, Ellsie served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Cam Ferenbach in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and for the Honorable Ronald J. Israel in the Eighth Judicial District Court. She also served as an Executive Editor of the Nevada Law Journal, a member of the Society of Advocates moot court team, and as president of La Voz, the Hispanic/Latino Law Student Association.
Prior to joining Kaempfer Crowell, Ellsie worked at a national litigation firm representing corporations in general liability matters. She also worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald J. Israel in the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Ellsie is the President Elect of the Nevada Latino Bar Association. She is also a Deputy Regional President for Region XIV of the Hispanic National Bar Association.
