LAS VEGAS, May 21, 2026— Attorney Jennifer Lazovich successfully secured approval from the Clark County Commission for Nevada’s first standalone comprehensive children’s hospital, a landmark project that will reshape pediatric healthcare in the state.
The more than $1 billion Intermountain Health facility will be built on the UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park near Durango Drive and the 215 Beltway in southwest Las Vegas. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with completion anticipated by the end of 2029.
The hospital is expected to significantly expand access to specialized pediatric care for families throughout Nevada while also creating substantial economic benefits for Southern Nevada through construction, healthcare investment, and long-term job creation.
