LAS VEGAS – Sev Carlson, a partner in Kaempfer Crowell’s Reno office, commenced a three year term as Chair of Mackrell International on April 21, 2023, at the network’s Annual General Meeting held in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Mackrell International is a global network of independent law firms, comprised of 90+ law firm members, with 4,500 lawyers working out of 170 offices in 60 countries. As Chair, Sev will preside over Mackrell International’s executive board which is comprised of 11 members who manage the network’s global operations. Kaempfer Crowell has been a member of the network since 2014. Sev has served on Mackrell International’s executive board since April 2018, and was selected by the network’s delegates to serve as its Chair.

Sev’s practice is focused on administrative law, regulatory matters, government affairs and related litigation. He provides legal counsel to a wide variety of businesses concerning water rights, real estate, land use and zoning, environmental, utility, as well as permitting and licensing issues.
